QBS Software, a leader in software procurement and delivery, has today announced a partnership with cloud email security provider Hornetsecurity that will further increase efficiencies that empower growth across its customer base.
The tie-up complements QBS Software's current partnership with Altaro on Hyper-V Backup, advancing opportunities for application providers, MSPs and channel partners through QBS's next-gen software delivery platform.
Lisa Scott, Head of Sales, UK&I at QBS Software said: “Email remains one of the most widely used exploit methods to conduct cyber social attacks, which are exponentially increasing. Hornetsecurity helps organisations to holistically protect user emails from targeted cyber-attacks.”
Lisa continued: “Malware protection, advanced threat protection, and email encryption features available with Hornetsecurity ensure complete protection against the most sophisticated cyber-attacks originating through email.
“In addition, mail continuity and archiving features available with Hornetsecurity are in great demand -- with customers increasingly looking for highly available solutions for their productivity challenges.”
Hornetsecurity research in March confirms that cloud and hybrid cloud solutions are favoured by many end-user companies across Europe and North America. However, multiple challenges are continuing to slow or even block cloud adoption -- including around cybersecurity.
In addition, 47% of respondents from internal IT teams reported that workloads will be “mostly in the cloud” in five years, with the share rising to 52% of respondents from companies using MSP services, and 54% of respondents that work directly at MSPs.
Dave Stevinson, Group CEO at QBS, commented: “Hornetsecurity has a highly effective channel programme and an attractive MSP offering. QBS Software joining hands with Hornetsecurity in UK&I will add great value to the channel partners by offering feature-rich, trusted, and complementary products to address all major areas of cybersecurity in the event of increasing cloud adoption and the growing remote workforce.”
Goran Olsson, Regional Director, Northern Europe, Hornetsecurity, said: “Hornetsecurity has been impressed by QBS’s experience, network, and strategic direction while working with the Altaro brand over the past few years. We are very pleased to announce that this award-winning distributor will now be distributing Hornetsecurity as part of their MSP portfolio. QBS will support us in achieving a leading position as a cloud email security provider across the UK and Ireland.”
“We want to ensure that MSPs and VARs not only boast the most effective cloud email security on the market but also enjoy excellent support to help them protect their customers from the latest cyber-attacks.”About Hornetsecurity Group
